Unfortunately we went down to Texas Tech on Sunday 27-3. The score did not indicate how close the game was, the players all fought hard for 80 minutes.

More match details soon, but the important info is that they advance to the semi-finals in San Marcos at Texas State University.

7:00PM – Baylor v Texas St.

Championship Match on Sunday (3/8/09)
1:00PM – Winners of both matches

If you are alumni and are interested in meeting to support the club, please contact Brian Dusablon. We are planning a small alumni event around these playoffs. Hopefully, with enough people, this will include something Saturday afternoon, and golf on Sunday morning.

UNT came to play and Baylor took till the 2nd half to start playing rugby, by this time it was too late.
At half time the score was 25-5. Baylor managed to win the 2nd half (10-5), but as we all know rugby is an 80 minute game.
 
Our three tries were scored by winger Matt Wedige, Josh Dewalt and Andy Audet.
 
We will now face SFA on Feb 28th in Waco for the Texas quarter final. The game should be at 2pm.
 
This will be our only focus as from the now the competition is a ‘knock out’ set up. Meaning if we lose our season is over.
